BETAWI TRADITIONAL DANCE 1
Lambang Sari Dance
This dance is a newly Betawi traditional dance composed
by Wiwiek Widiyastuti, it is inspired by the story of Bapak Jantuk of Topeng
Betawi. It tells about the happiness of Bapak Jantuk in raising his child
which he expresses in song and dance. The Poetry from of the song was later
transformed into dance movements for Lambang Sari.
