Wiwiek Widiyastuti born on July 31 1952 in Yogyakarta. On began studying at Pusat Latihan Tari Bagong Kussudiadjo Yogyakarta from 1967 - 1977. She continued her dance education at ASTI (Akademi Seni Tari indonesia) Yogyakarta from 1973 - 1977 and at LPKJ (Lembaga Pendidikan Kesenian Jakarta) from 1978 - 1979.

The winner of Jakarta Young Choreography Contest 1978 with her composition "Tapak Tangan Dance"
Young Choreographer at Dewan Kesenian Jakarta Festival 1979 with her composition "Gado-Gado Jakarta"
The choreographer of "Gondesan" product by Dinas Kebudayaan DKI Jakarta at the opening of Jakarta Fair 1980.
The composer and created of some newly Betawi traditional dance :
Tapak Tangan Dance, Topeng Tiga Dance, Ronggeng Blantek Dance, Bada Hattam Dance, Ngarojeng Dance, Topeng Gong Dance, Lambang Sari Dance, Soder Hejo, Madu Arum, Sirih Kuning, Tepak Ondel-Ondel.
As a dancer and choreographer has performed at Asia Film festifal Seoul 1986, World Expo Brisbane 1988, Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, China Taipei, China Beijing, Hongkong and Japan), Euro (Holland, Germany, Swiss, Austria, Polandia, Cheko, Italy and Turky), Africa (Marroco, South Africa).
